Summary of rental terms and conditions:

1. Agreement Term & Venue Use:
This agreement lasts from the effective date through the event period. Licensee is granted use of the venue for the event but must vacate and remove property at the end, or reimburse The Rink Studios for removal costs.
2. Financial Settlement:
• Licensee will pay the agreed license fee and additional expenses for staffing and production as detailed in the agreement.
• Payments are due per the schedule, and The Rink Studios can terminate the agreement if not paid. Final invoices are due within 3 days after the event.
• Any box office surplus after fees will be paid to Licensee; deficits may require additional deposits.
• Cancellations within 45 days require full payment. If The Rink Studios cancels, the deposit is refunded.
3. Parking:
Special parking spaces may be available but are not guaranteed. The Rink Studios isn’t responsible for vehicle damage.
4. Merchandise & Concessions:
The Rink Studios controls food, beverages, and merchandise sales. Licensee may receive a discount on the license fee based on beverage sales.
5. Ticketing:
The Rink Studios will handle all ticket sales for the event. The Rink Studios may issue complimentary tickets and passes for its use and may offer refunds under certain conditions. Licensee is responsible for refund costs in certain cases.
6. Advertising & Promotion:
Licensee handles all advertising and promotions, subject to The Rink Studios approval. The Rink Studios makes no guarantees regarding event success.
7. Booth/Commercial Space:
Licensee must get The Rink Studios approval for booths, ensure legal compliance, and handle taxes for booth vendors.
8. Recording & Photography:
No recording of the event without The Rink Studios’s approval. Guests may photograph for personal use unless restricted by performers.
9. Venue Use & Condition:
Licensee accepts the venue as-is and must return it in the same condition. Damages must be paid for, and certain prohibited items (e.g., outside alcohol, pyrotechnics) are not allowed.
10. Warranties & Compliance:
Both parties confirm authority to enter the agreement and compliance with laws. Licensee is responsible for necessary licenses and indemnifies The Rink Studios from intellectual property claims.
11. Insurance:
Licensee must maintain insurance coverage for liability, property damage, and other risks. The Rink Studios must be named as an additional insured party.
12. Sponsorships & Signage:
The Rink Studios controls venue signage and sponsorships. Licensee must get The Rink Studios approval for any additional sponsorships or signage.
13. Miscellaneous:
• The agreement cannot be assigned without The Rink Studios’s approval.
• Force majeure events may excuse performance obligations.
• Licensee is responsible for taxes related to the event.
• The prevailing party in legal actions may recover attorney fees.
